Passport forms

If you use the wrong form or do not comlete it correctly, our staff may not be able to process your application and there could be a delay issuing your passport.

Make sure you download and complete the correct application form. We accept forms printed in black and white. Use the guidance notes to help you with filling the form.

C1 Form

Only use this form if you are:

  • aged 16 or older and
  • a UK Citizen applying overseas or
  • a British Overseas Territories Citizen or
  • a British Overseas Citizen or
  • a British Protected Person.

Do not use this form if you are if you are a British National (Overseas) with a close connection with Hong Kong.

C2 Form

Only use this form if you are:

  • aged 15 or younger and
  • a UK Citizen applying overseas or
  • a British Overseas Territories Citizen or
  • a British Overseas Citizen or
  • a British Protected Person.

BNO-A Form

Use this form if you are:

  • aged 16 or older and
  • a British National (Overseas) with a close connection with Hong Kong.
