Making a complaint
You have a right to expect prompt and courteous service.
If you wish to make a complaint about Consular and Visa Section in Prague you should write to:

If your complaint is concerning the Consul then you should address your letter to the Ambassador at the same address.
- We will do our best to respond within 20 working days.
- We will investigate the complaint fully. The person who investigates the complaint should not be directly connected to the case or complaint and will usually be senior to any officer who a complaint has been made against.
- The Ambassador will see all complaints.
- We will record and examine complaints, and use the information to improve the service we provide.
- If you are not satisfied with our response, they can write directly to either the FCO Director of Consular Services at, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Old Admiralty Building, Spring Gardens, London, SW1A 2PA. A Foreign Office Minister or your MP, asking them to raise the complaint with the FCO. If you have made your complaint through your MP and are still not happy with the reply that we have given, you can contact the Parliamentary Ombudsman.
