Residing in the UK

Will I need to apply for a Residence Permit or register with the police?

No. If you have a right to live in the United Kingdom, you can stay in the UK for as long as you want without getting a residence permit or registering with the police. If you want, you can apply for a residence permit. A residence permit simply confirms that you have a right to live in the United Kingdom under European Community Law. The Residence Permit is not an entitlement to work and is completely separate from the Workers Registration Scheme.

Will I need a visa to travel to the UK?

No. Czech Nationals will not require visas for travel to the UK.

Will I be able to stay in the UK for as long as I wish?

You will have a right of residence in the UK if you:
  • Are working in the United Kingdom
  • Do not work in the United Kingdom but have enough money to support yourself without help from public funds.
